OUR JOURNEY...
"Our story and journey here at Starlight Caravan are full of synchronicity and serendipitous opportunities that led us to offer the Shungite items we carry. After a couple years on our journey we have finish a room entirely lined with two tons of Shungite modeled after those in Russia, France and Austria. It is the first of its kind in North America, located near Boulder, Colorado. We are excited by a growing community of healers, researchers, geo-biologists and all of those seeking protection, wellness, and detoxification through the use of this “miracle stone of Russia”. Shanti and Deborah introduced us to Shungite in the summer of 2018 while visiting our home. Shanti was using a small piece of the stone to treat pain in his hip. As we walked our property to a particularly powerful clearing on the ridge of the mountain, we mused aloud about what would be a good use of the location. Without a moment of hesitation, Deborah said, "You could build a Shungite room." The seed was planted. Synchronistically, they appeared from out of town one year later on the day the stone arrived, after several weeks of transport from Russia, and helped us unbox the pallets.
Vera had traveled to Petrozovodsk, Russia in August of 2018 to explore the origins of Shungite at the only quarry known on Earth. She met Alexander there, who turned out to be the perfect partner to manifest the vision of a Shungite room in Boulder. Together they selected three large boulders from the quarry and had them immediately loaded onto a large truck. After the stone was cut and shipped, Alexander flew to Colorado to help assemble the room.
